Anyone play L4D2 demo yet?

Spitter? How many new boss zombies are there? I thought there was only one (Charger)?

There's 2 or 3 new types of infected. I think 3 or 4 new special infected. Also, a special Witch variant.

-Hazmat suit infected
-Mudmen infected (Unsure)
-Clown infected

-Jockey (Jumps on your head and deals damage as it forces you to walk/run in the direction it wants you to)
-Spitter (Spits corrosive bile at you that stay around for a while)
-Charger (Charges you and grabs you and slams you up and down multiple times)

-Wandering Witch (During the daytime, she wanders around the place you're in, and sometimes might just walk in from behind and just start attacking. Cries less. It's rumored that during the night, she returns to the normal crying Witch everyone knows and loves.)

That's what I know and remember. Correct if I'm wrong and feel free to add.

demo really isnt that revealing. does show the whole new melee thing though but really all the new weapons ive seen in the demo are basically the same ones that were in the first game. like the autoshotty/SPAZ works exactly the same as the original, and the sniper rifle just has 10 more rds in the clip. only other weapon i played long enough to see was a silenced smg.

lol me, mummy and crux went in and almost beat the map doing only melee. then tiger came in and all the sudden we couldnt get past the first stage. lol but its fun on expert melee!!!

just because they wanted L4D2 to be DLC for L4D1 instead of a whole new game. just like how mad people got when Guitar Hero just keeps pumping out new games instead of making the songs DLC. Most people love the new game, others think they could have saved the trouble and just made it all DLC. Personally, I love what I see from L4D2. Much better than the first. (thus why I actually bought this version)

yeah i agree the Left 4 Dead 2 thing was a bad idea, but i played the demo. It is slow as shit in my opinion. The AI zombies seem to not respond in the same way as the original. The melee weapons are about as good punching them off your body. I used the guitar and it slashed a zombies head off, next time i see someone get nailed in the head and their head gets severed from their body i will say oh yeah left 4 dead 2 was correct on that one
I think that i hit a zombie 10 times with a frying pan for it to die, and then i hit it with the end of the gun and killed it in 3, i mean come on melee weapons should be better than the end of the gun, i ran back through the level to get my god damn pistol back

also the map was very flat, not much going on other than walking in open fields. I know originally it was supposed to be a sandbox game but i mean there was 3 or 4 times in one map where it was just a wide open field with nothing, come on its basically like they didnt give a shit.

the part when u run to the tower, ok it says go up and turn the alarm off, so i turn it off thinking the zombies would stop coming, which is what happens when u turn off alarms in a game where zombies go nuts from alarms. I turn the thing off, and i fought off litterally the entire landing force on D-day by myself cuz 2 of the people i was playing with died. I dunno just seemed like they were like, eh heres an alarm, but when u turn it off the zombies will continue to come in waves for another 5 minutes.

im sorry i cant get over the fact that u add 3 more monsters, 6 more weapons, and a couple of melee weapons and you can call it a brand new game. A new game shoulda had 4x as many things as the first not 2x as many. 2x is saying that its an addon for 50 dollars not a true new game, its a waste of money. Shoulda been an addon, not a 50 dollar game, its a waste of money and time, i think im just gonna wait for them to release the maps on the first one and then ill play them on there so i dont have to waste my money

Cool things are like the boomer bile and ak47 are pretty cool, but i mean honestly this game is not worth the 50 dollars that they are going to sell it for, but as a 20 dollar addon to the original game woulda been fine.
