What is the 100 point club?

Ever hear some of the people on the server/mumble talking about the 100 point club?
Definition: Getting 100 or more points on a single map with a single class.

You can also join by splitting up the classes but its more 1337 to do it as one class and prove your skill and dedication if you can do it with one and succeed.

Its best to join this club when you're not on a stacked team so you look that much better than everyone else. Its pretty elite for sure, but not as elite when 6 other players are also above 100. Shows the team was stacked.

Time for the forum to stroke their e-peen and feel good about being great in a public server....
What classes have you joined the 100 point club as without switching classes on a normal server/map (not mario kart or something nonsense)?
Scout (a few times, one time had 185 it seems. love screenshots)
Sniper (once or maybe twice)
Soldier (numerous)
Demoman (a few times)
Medic (40+ times)
HWguy (20+ times)
Engineer (a few times)

I cant recall doing it as Scout or Spy alone. But I know I've had at least 60 as each before on some long maps.

Chime in!! Its fun. It kinda goes along with the tips thread. If you see someone that is a member of the 100 point club on numerous classes, ask their advice on ways to do it. I will medic anyone that is willing to give it a shot as Soldier/Demoman/Hwguy. Those are the three main ones that can get 100 point club easily with a medic. Just say "hein I'm going for it!!! helpz!!"

Medic (often), Heavy (in the past a lot, rarely I enjoy medic more) and on occasion Engineer.. I do have the highest points in 1 life ever with Engineer.. Thnx to THA TELE! I had a small 106 teleports or so in 1 life on warpath.. Yes.. I looked it up :D

I suck in demo, soldier and spy.. I never finish playing sniper for a whole map and only play scout to support caps.. The pyro is a girl, so I never feel comfortable when playing like that :P

I just realized I had 40k healing in one 1.5 rounds of D and 1 round of O. Well met. Also the teams were even the entire time. They just had people drop after the map was changing as I took the screenshot

See, thing is, I never take screenshots of endgame scoreboards. Have an assload of screenshots though..

scout a few times, sniper once or twice, soldier more numbers then pi, demo many times, heavy maybe 2 or 3 times. Thats prob bout it I can't recall ever getting to 100 with any other classes

300, 200, 100 point club for Heavy i think ive done 100 with soldier but those are basically the only 2 ones i play, probably gotten close with demo

I think I may have done it with every class except scout. I don't really keep track though, but I often stay as one class for an entire map, and have gotten past 100 a bunch of times.

I think i did it with heavyy, sniper, and medic. Close with soldier.

I have yet to hit 100 point club with a scout.. same goes for pyro.

All the other classes, I've hit it. HWguy, Spy and medic being the easiest for me to achieve, followed by sniper and engie. These classes its all in the nature of the points, and if your attacking or defending.

A long time ago, when tf2 first released i was good with soldier. However, now for demo and soldier, I'm not horrible at either.. just not good enough yet to get them in the club. Time to beef up those class skills and get them in!

When you play medic for 3 rounds on a full server 100 points shouldn`t be to hard , did it a couple of times as a heavy and soldier or any of the 3 classes above mixed togheter.

last night on Castle both teams mvp's scored 40 points a round average..

Getting 200 on a 5 round map (average cp setup) should be easy.. Hell, with a good bit of teamwork on Castle (because of it's awesome size! YES I love that map) breaking 200 should be a matter of consistency and spam :P

First off. spam is bad mmkay.. i hate it.. >< I cant even bring myself to play stickydemo because of it.. (befor i get flamed, i know, i know, it takes skill to play a good demo.. but, otherwise, spam is spam)


Anyways, i couldnt sleep so i went on this other pub server that was runnin tonight. had a solid 24 peeps on it the whole time and i hit well into the 200 club... playing mostly soldier, some engie. lol my engie was all offensive tho. no tele, no dispenser all sentry and shotty. and a bit of spy.

Spanked em hard.

According btw to the rules of this league.. We need 5 win difference or 30 min timelimit.. so not till 5, but 5 difference..

For as scouts.. we suck at that and they countered with weird combinations as we started of as Kaito instructed us (that failed like within 1 round that we lost and then we started playing chaotic and that worked like a charm).

Link was switching between sniper and spy a lot to take out their heavies (yes multiple) but as a sniper he pwned the crap out of them.. "Oh shit heavies.. Link left!" "x x" "heavies down :D"

Balls joined very late into the match (near the end) as the original person had trouble with his steam_id on esl. No idea why he came up doing that 5 min before the match, but ok. This balls disconnected halfway through the second match and came back under a different name.. I think if we would protest on it all we'd be completely right, however.. considering we lost only 3 rounds due to crappy communication on our side (and lack of magic as Rockman pointed out elegantly) of which the first was obvious lack of playing together it was rather ok.. They won 1 round on gravel when we just discussed that it would not count as we should've switched.. funny how they actually managed to play rather ok the 1 round they knew didn't count..

However, healing the crap out of people and getting 101 points (the last was after the match tho) was awesome :D
