Synergy (HL2 Co-op)

I've mentioned this before but I think it was in a quiet thread that wasnt read. With so many people playing so many games, I thought this would be a great addition to those times when we dont want to play tf2 or l4d(2).

Synergy is a third party game in Steam that allows you to play co-op Half Life 2. You can play any episode that is downloaded in your account. There are also lots of custom maps that are pretty cool. Crux got this a month ago and I told a guy here at work about it and he's excited to play.

Just go to the Steam store and type it in. Its free and really fun. Maybe in the next week or two we can get some people together and run through some of it.

Does it increase the difficulty? Because hl2 is pretty easy.

I think we can crank it up so they're harder to kill. I was thinking we do it more for the storyline and fun to have.

Man, I love this mod. I played it right when it came out, and only a few of the story maps worked. It was still hilariously awesome.

Theres story in half life? I'd probably play just for the lulz of the gravitiy gun fun with multiple people.

It's on my other account :3, that was back in the day when I didn't trust steam to have all my games on it lol.

Crux what error are you getting? We need to get that fixed post haste

I just tried it again and it seems to work but it goes black after the synergy loading screen and my windows explorer crashes. I restarted windows explorer and the game seemed to have recovered so it's all good I guess.
