About myself, I really like Electro. As in Trance, techno, that stuff. But I like practically every type of genre, except country and most rap. there are a few hip hop songs I like, but other than that its just crap. In my opinion of course.

Generally heavy metal/speed metal/power metal, with a side of alt/prog rock.

I'm into rock, mostly. Some pop, but mostly rock. Any language works fine, but I generally stick to english and japanese.

i listen to almost anything. rock, metal, folk, reggae, ... whatever i feel like sounds good.

Yes, I have. I'd list off all the bands I know...but that's too many and that doesn't compare to many. Girugamesh is pretty popular.

mostly acoustic driven folk or rock. Although really I listen to just about everything except rap.

I dislike old country music, and much newer country music. But some country is alright. Aside from that, I wouldn't miss metal, but I don't dislike it. I tend to listen to reggae, hip-hop, pop, and dance music when I do listen to music (not too often, mostly in the car.)

BUT, I've seen a lot of "all music" but no mention of jazz, classical, opera, etc. I love all of them, but I imagine many here would put that in the same category as country. Am I wrong?

lol, I range from Rock to I guess it would be considered grindcore to rap to Jazz to classical. All depends on my mood.
